Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving. Over the past two and a half months I have become more and more aware of God's care and blessings in my life. I think it is a good thing that there is a specific day set aside for the purpose of giving thanks but I am convinced that we have much more to be thankful for than can fill one day, I know that I do at least. So in honour of today I will list some of the things I am thankful for. This list is by no means all-encompassing and it is in no particular order.

-A God who loves me and takes care of me and desires a personal relationship with all people.

-Being close (geographically speaking) to my immediate family.

-Being able to worship regularly with my brothers and sisters at the Saskatoon Church of Christ.

-A job that I enjoy.

-A car that gets me to and from my job as well as other places I may need or want to go.

-A rent free home.

-Forgiveness.

-The internet which allows me to communicate with people both near and far.

-Opportunities to practice speaking Portuguese right here in Saskatoon.

-Sunday lunches shared with my mom.

-Lisa, Paul and Cadence.

-Freedom to worship my God without persecution.

-That I was born in Canada.

-That God has a plan for me.

-The beauty of creation.

-That it hasn't snowed yet and that when it does I know it won't last forever. :)

-Friends who speak truth into my life.

-My Brazilian family and friends.

-My Grandma Parry.

-Growing friendships with my siblings.
